The watch manufacturing is a long process in which handicraft, techniques and art are mixed together.

Once the project has been approbated, it is transformed from a series of computer-generated images into a collection of blue prints, protocols and descriptive plans which are then distributed to about twenty artisans and suppliers.

Dorothée Herpelinck is the person in charge of the manufacturing. Beyond the technical aspects, Dorothée creates a network between the artisan, the artists and the technicians. Our challenge is to work as a team and really feel involved in the project in order to contribute at creating the soul of the watch, this soul that people talk about when they look at a Golay Spierer's watch.
